One Simple Question From an 11-Year-Old…

It began on a lazy Saturday morning.
A year ago, my 11-year-old daughter and I were watching TV when the familiar charity adverts appeared - different causes, different stories, but the same message:
Donate. Make a difference.
She turned to me and asked, "Do we donate to any charity?"
"Yes," I replied. "Every month. We have for the past ten years."
She smiled - then followed with a question that stayed with me: "What about the other charities?"
I explained how supporting multiple charities can be complicated - different websites, forms, direct debits, emails, and logins. Giving, surprisingly, isn't as simple as it should be.
That conversation sparked a bigger question:
Why is giving still fragmented in a world where everything else is seamless?
When I shared this with my partners, Subhankar Denria and Uttaran Chaudhuri, the idea became clear:
What if giving could be simple?
What if one platform could connect donors and charities effortlessly?
That was the moment OneDonate was born.
One year later, OneDonate is gaining traction, with charities, CICs, and community trusts already onboarded - built to make giving easier, more transparent, and more meaningful.
And it all started with one simple question from an 11-year-old.
